ThermaVein® uses a process known as Thermocoagulation to seal the vein walls, causing them to instantly and permanently disappear. An ultra-fine insulated needle delivers a pulse of energy causing the vein to empty. ThermaVein® then creates a seal by gently heating the vein wall, allowing the body to naturally reabsorb the vein. The low current used makes it a very safe walk in, walk out treatment.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Our experienced therapist will carry out a detailed analysis of your skin and develop an individual treatment plan. In most cases treatment can begin the same day, if you decide you want to go ahead.
The skin is cleansed then the therapist will introduce a fine probe and apply a Radio Frequency current. In most cases the vein will disappear instantly. A typical treatment lasts around 15 minutes, regardless of how many veins you have. A 15 minute treatment is the maximum time recommended in one session.
The treatment is very effective and, in most cases, once removed the thread vein will not reappear. We recommend a follow up appointment, usually around 6 weeks after your initial treatment to assess the results and see if further treatment is required.
HOW TO PREPARE
ThermaVein® is a very safe procedure with no preparation required and no significant side effects. We just ask you to attend your appointment with skin completely free of makeup or products.
AFTERCARE
Aloe Vera gel, followed by SPF 30 or higher, will be applied to the skin immediately after treatment. Avoid intense exercise, very hot baths, saunas and steam rooms for 48 hours after treatment.
